"Her work is based on an exploration of girls in moments of silence, freedom, and dreamlike stillness, both outdoors in nature and within intimate, safe spaces. The loss of a promised carefree adolescence became the emotional starting point for her projects, both a form of processing and a visual attempt to reclaim a sense of freedom. A kind of "borrowed" nostalgia for a time that never truly belonged to her. Through her images, she explores how memory and identity are not only formed by lived experience, but also by what we miss, long for, or imagine. Her photographs invite a shared sense of vulnerability, hope, and the quiet wonder of suspended time."
